Pageflex Studio ID

Pageflex Studio ID enables you to produce rich variable data documents using Adobe InDesign. You also can use it to prepare customizable templates for use in Pageflex Storefront, Bitstream’s award-winning web-to-print offering.

As a plug-in to Adobe InDesign  (Mac/Windows), Pageflex Studio ID pairs your graphic design with a data file to create variable documents. You use an additional Pageflex Studio ID palette within InDesign to create variables, business rules, Pageflex Action scripts (if you’re a power user), and print settings for each data run.

Pageflex Studio ID stretches to match your capabilities and needs. It includes an easy-to-use business rule wizard for creating the if-then-else rules that will determine what content replaces each variable in your document. And power users can use the Pageflex Actions scripting tool to dynamically make complex changes to the document. Only Pageflex Studio ID gives you this much control over how your variable project is produced in InDesign.

InDesign becomes project central for your VDP campaigns. For instance, imagine that for a store grand opening event you may have invitation, ticket, and coupon design templates all in the same project. Each of these templates can draw data from the same customer list and use the same variable imagery and text to maintain consistency across the pieces. You simply create one set of variables, variable business rules, and content and then you can apply them to any design template in the project. This centralization in a project is unique to Pageflex variable data applications and saves you time and repetitious work.
