Desktop VDP with Pageflex Studio ID

Pageflex Studio ID is a desktop variable data publishing (VDP) plug-in for Adobe InDesign CS4.  Pageflex Studio ID combines the full visual power and graphic creativity of InDesign with the powerful variable data capabilities that customers have come to expect from Pageflex. It enables users to design, setup, and run variable data projects directly in InDesign.

With Pageflex Studio ID, the InDesign application becomes project central for VDP campaigns, giving users access in one project file to multiple related templates and assets. Users can simply create one set of variables and variable business rules and then apply them to any template in the project. This centralization of a project is a hallmark of Pageflex variable data applications and saves time and cost by eliminating the need to re-create components for each template.

The Pageflex Studio ID plug-in is available for both Macintosh and Windows platforms.

Pageflex Storefront supports Adobe InDesign Server. Companies with large volumes of Adobe InDesign documents and sophisticated graphic design requirements benefit from using it to automate the process of versioning their documents.

Pageflex Storefront enables native InDesign documents to be selected, customized, and ordered through a web browser. The Pageflex Studio ID plug-in to Adobe InDesign is used to setup design templates for use in the Pageflex Storefront online catalog. Remote users—such as sales people, franchise owners, customers, or consumers—can submit variable content through web forms and by uploading data files. Onscreen previews, proofs, and final print output are produced in the background by Adobe InDesign Server. The documents retain all of the design and variable richness as when they are used directly in Pageflex Studio ID.
