Senior Software Maintenance Engineer

As a Senior Software Maintenance Engineer for Pageflex (www.pageflex.com), you will join a skilled development team working on a growing suite of print, Web-to-print, and cross media publishing products. You will work closely with Engineering, QA, and Support colleagues and contribute to software maintenance of existing product releases. To be considered for this position, you should have a proven track record of software development in client/server and web-driven commercial applications. You should also have experience in the Windows API and web programming, in addition to experience working on user interfaces. You must be self-motivated, display excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge and Skills

• BS in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
• 4+ years experience developing complex desktop, client/server and Web applications running on Microsoft Windows
• Excellent knowledge of C#, C++ and OOP
• Ability to work in a multi-programming language environment (our products make use of C/C++, C#, ASP.NET, COM, MFC, and various scripting languages)
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, including networking, databases and client/server enterprise system issues
• Experience Microsoft SQL Server
• Ability to ship products on schedule
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
