Applications Specialist
Position Overview:
We are looking for a top-notch applications specialist, with a proven track record of helping sales expand the customer base, to join the pre-sales team at Pageflex. You would be working with our growing marketing automation product line, including Web-to-print and cross media publishing products/services.
In this position you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and conducting product demos, attending trade shows, assisting as a technical sales engineer during both on-site customer visits and WebEx demonstrations. You will work closely with Engineering, Support and Consulting Services groups to discover effective ways in which our software offerings could assist our sales prospects. To be considered for this position, you must be customer focused, self-motivated, display excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
General Requirements :
- 5+ years comprehensive pre-sales, sales engineering or software implementation experience preferably with a marketing automation focused product (Brand Management, ECM, Email Marketing, Web-to-Print)
- Proficiency communicating a wide range of technical material around hardware and software configuration as well as less technical end-user applications
- Willing and able to quickly learn company software products in order to make an immediate positive impact
- Polished, professional and approachable presence
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Bachelor’s degree and equivalent technical education and experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Technical Requirements:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop
- Competent with Flash, Javascript and/or VBScript, CSS, and HTML
- Comfortable in both a PC and Mac environment
- General competency in light administration of a Windows/SQL/IIS operating environment including SMTP
Highly Desired Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of variable data publishing technologies
- Experience with web-based technologies such as HTML and XML
